Every Word Counts

One Last Kill

Closing time. Retiree Benjamin Kilgore prepared to close the doors on his quirky milk bottle museum housed on his cattle farm. Last minute visitors arrived, and kindly Kilgore offered a deep discount to view the collection due to the late hour in the day. His guests passed on his generous offer as they had come to see a specific set of bottles. Benjamin allowed the men to view and even handle the specific containers, even though he knew right away the men came for more than milk bottles. He had long said every bottle has a story to tell. As he expected, the old man learned the men wanted to hear the story of the bottles, a deadly story indeed.
